Creating visual stories

Flo and Cherie are both theatre directors, facilitators and poets. They both spend most of their time creating highly visual theatre, often with deaf and hearing casts using integrated Sign Language, Visual Vernacular and visual storytelling.

In this workshop, Flo and Cherie will facilitate a short writing workshop for participants to write their own story, followed by using devising, movement and visual storytelling to bring stories to life. This workshop will culminate in a short, informal group sharing, which friends/ family are welcome to attend. We warmly welcome deaf and hearing participants to join us, and anyone with access needs. No previous experience is necessary.

Please wear comfy clothes and shoes, and bring water and a notepad and pen.
